Southern Methodist University Geothermal Laboratory (SMU Geothermal) is a NGDS partner through the DOE-funded project: "Heat Flow Database Expansion for NGDS Data Development, Collection and Maintenance". See "NGDS and NGDS-related Projects" for a summary. SMU Geothermal conducts geothermal research projects and offers several geothermal databases, heat flow maps (available online) and basic information about understanding and working with the Earth's heat budget including publications (available online) and hosts the "Texas Geothermal Outreach and Networking" effort.
