Open Energy Information
Open Energy Information (OpenEI) is a knowledge sharing online community dedicated to connecting people with the latest information and data on energy resources from around the world. By providing access to energy-related information via geographic discovery, unique visualizations, and topic-oriented gateways, OpenEI can help you find the answers you need to make better, more informed decisions. OpenEI is developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
The DOE Geothermal Data Repository (DOE-GDR) is one of the nodes on the NGDS. OpenEI will be the acquisition and search interface for the DOE-GDR and will ensure that all public DOE-GDR data is included in the NGDS Catalog.
